SANRAL is expanding its thrust to support emerging black companies in the construction industry through partnership agreements with key industry players including companies specialising in earthmoving machinery and road construction equipment. These partnerships have also extended to include development support through funding as well as training and mentorship
This is a direct outcome of SANRAL’s new vision, Horizon 2030, and its transformation policy aim to radically transform the construction industry.
SANRAL recognises the critical role it plays in the construction and related industries. It is mindful of the impact the construction industry and its procurement have on millions of people across South Africa in terms of business and job opportunities.
The partnerships will assist in this drive to increase the number of participants, especially enterprises owned by black people, women, youth and military veterans, across the value and supply chains of the construction industry.
