FOR SUB-CONTRACT: GEOTECHNICAL DRILLING INVESTIGATION ON NATIONAL ROUTE N2 SECTION 11, AT THE N2/R75 COMMERCIAL ROAD INTERCHANGE, AND AT KM 5,4 ON NATIONAL ROUTE R75 SECTION 1, IN NELSON MANDELA BAY METRO

T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (incorporating SBD1)

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) on behalf of iXengineers (Pty) Ltd  invites suitably qualified tenderers for NRA N.002-110-2021/1-D-SS  FOR SUBCONTRACT: GEOTECHNICAL DRILLING INVESTIGATION ON NATIONAL ROUTE N2 SECTION 11, AT THE N2/R75 COMMERCIAL ROAD INTERCHANGE, AND AT KM 5,4 ON NATIONAL ROUTE R75 SECTION 1, IN NELSON MANDELA BAY METRO

 The approximate duration is 16 weeks.

CIDB Regulation 25(1B) will not be applicable to this contract.

It is a requirement of this project that the successful tenderer subcontract a minimum of 30 percent (30 %) of the work by the end of the contract to Targeted Enterprise(s) as defined in the Contract Data.

No mandatory subcontracting requirements for EME.

Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database, are eligible to tender.

Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.

TENDER DOCUMENTS

Tender documents are available at no cost in electronic format downloaded from the SANRAL’s website by the following link https://www.nra.co.za/service-provider-zone/tenders/open-tenders/.Tenderers must have access to MS Office ©2013 and Acrobat Adobe ©9.0, or similar compatible software.

Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender within seven (7) days from the tender advertisement date. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.

COMPULSARY BRIEFING SESSION

A compulsory clarification briefing session will be conducted virtually on 4th October 2024 where the project will be presented. A link to the clarification briefing session will be sent to tenderers who complete and submit a Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender (Form A1.1)

Bidders must send an e-mail  ( braam.m@ixengineers.co.za ) to submit the Form A1.1 and request for a link to join the meeting.

Closing date for this submission and request is 2nd October 2024 .

A tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one tenderer at the tender briefing session.

COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 11h00 on Friday 25th October 2024

Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, email, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted.

Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data.

Requirements for sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the Tender Data.
