T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1)

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) on behalf of EFG Engineers Pty Ltd invites suitably qualified tenderers for SUB-CONTRACT NUMBER SANRAL NRA. N.001-030-2021/1D-SS – GEOTECHNICAL DRILLING SERVICES FOR THE CAPACITY IMPROVEMENT OF NATIONAL ROUTE 1 SECTION 3 FROM WORCESTER EAST (KM 3.5) TO GLEN HEATLIE (KM 14.00).
This project is in the province of Western Cape and in the Breede Valley Local Municipality. The approximate duration is 4 months
“CIDB Regulation 25(1B) will not be applicable to this contract”.
It is a requirement of this project that the successful tenderer subcontract a minimum of 30 percent (30 %) of the work by the end of the contract to Targeted Enterprise(s) as defined in the Contract Data.
No mandatory subcontracting requirements for EME.
Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database, are eligible to tender.

Tenderers must have access to MS Office ©2013 and Acrobat Adobe ©9.0, or similar compatible software.
Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to Friday 25 October 2024. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive, if “any material amendment/s” contained in the addenda or additional information is not included in the tender offer/submission.
TENDERER’S MEETING
A Compulsory clarification briefing meeting will be held in Worcester on Wednesday 30 October 2024 at 10:00 where the project will be presented. A link to the clarification briefing meeting will be sent to Tenderers who complete and submit a Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender (Form A1.1).
COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS
The closing time for receipt of tenders is 11:00 on Friday 22 November 2024
Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, email, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted.
