T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (SBD1)
AQUAEXR JV invites tenders from experienced EME/QSE subcontractors for Contract SANRAL N003-10-2017/9 - for the capacity improvements of N3 Section 1 from Westville Viaduct (Km11.8) to Paradise Valley Interchange (Km17.57) under the requirements by The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL). This project is in the province of KwaZulu Natal and in eThekwini Municipality. The approximate duration is Thirty-six (36) months.
Joint Ventures (JV) shall be required with the Lead Partner being a suitably experienced Consultancy firm in Training and Mentorship and the Targeted Partner being a Targeted Enterprise as defined in the Tender Data.
Only tenderers that meet all the eligibility criteria under clause 4.1.1 of the Tender Data will be considered.
Only tenderers who meet the minimum functionality score as stated in clause 5.11.9 will be evaluated further on price and preference.
Tenderers that are SETA accredited or registered as Skills Development Agent (SDA) or comply with ECSA/SACPCMP are eligible to apply for the tender. The requirements will also be supplemented with additional information in the tender data.

CLOSING TIME, COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS
A fully completed and signed hard copy tender document, submitted to the Drop box at the contractor’s site offices: 39 Alexander Road Westmead Pinetown KwaZulu Natal, which contains the below in the following order;
-One (1) hard copy of Form of Offer
-One (1) hard copy of all returnable schedules and attachments
-One (1) hard copy of Pricing Schedule
Information provided by a tenderer over and above the above elements of Volume 3 shall be treated as information only and will only be bound into the document if the tenderer notes on Form A4: Schedule of Variations or deviations that the information has a bearing on the tender price.
The closing time and date for receipt of tenders is 13h00 on Wednesday 6 November 2024.
Telegraphic, telephonic, telefax, e-mail, facsimile and LATE TENDERS will not be accepted.
Only tender offers submitted at 39 Alexander Road Westmead Pinetown KwaZulu Natal will be considered.
Requirements for sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the Tender Data.

NOTICE AND INVITATION TO SUBMIT BUSINESS PROFILES FOR TARGET ENTERPRISES SUBCONTRACTORS (GRADE 1CE - 6 CE)
Local sub-contractors/SMMEs (1CE - 6CE CIDB Grading) and Suppliers are hereby invited to submit business profiles to be considered for selection on Contract SANRAL N.003-010-2017/9. This will be an ongoing process as this will assist the SMME’s to be notified when there are tenders that will be advertised.
Documentation should be submitted via email to cpg@aquaexrjv.co.za or hand delivered to our AQUAEXR JV offices at No.39 Alexander Road Westmead, Pinetown, KwaZulu Natal. Alternatively contact the helpdesk. A helpdesk is available to provide guidance to the SMME’s and suppliers. The business profile should include the following:
1. Completed Database Registration Forms,2 Proof of the Tenderers B-BBEE contributor level.3. Proof that the Tenderer is an EME or QSE entity.4. Proof that the Tenderer is registered on National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD).5 Proof that tenderer is compliant with the COID act.6. Proof that the Tenderer is tax compliant.7. Proof that Tenderer is registered with CIDB in the required grading and class (not applicable to suppliers) .8 CVs of owner(s)/supervisor(s).9. Company Business Profile
