RFQ NOTICE (ROAD MARKING)

CLOSING DATE: Wednesday 6 November 2024 at 12:00.

Damians Contractors Civil invites experienced EME and QSE sub-contractors (who have interest on road marking RFQ) for Contract X.003-049-2019/1 for the SUBCONTRACTS  SANRAL X.003-049-2019/1 FOR THE ROUTINE ROAD MAINTENANCE OF NATIONAL ROUTES R63 SECTION 14 KM (0.0 TO (58.56), R63 SECTION 15 KM (0.47 TO 28.51), N2 SECTIION 14 KM (0.0) TO (65.76) AND N6 SECTION 1 KM (50.38) TO SECTION 3(KM 8.04) on behalf of the South African National Roads Agency Limited (SANRAL).

This project is in the province of the Eastern Cape and falls within the Ngqushwa, Raymond Mhlaba and Amahlati Local Municipalities, Buffalo City Metro Municipality and within Amathole District Municipality.

Below are documents that must be submitted via e-mail to receive a BOQ

1. B-BBEE Level 1 or 2 contributor.
2. Exempted Micro Enterprise (EME)
3. Registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD).
4. Registered as “active” with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) in the relevant contractor grade and class designation.

An award will only be made to recommended subcontractors that are:

5. Compliant with the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COIDA); and
6. Tax Compliant.

Sub-contractors are required for the following subcontracts packages:

Note to Subcontractors:

1. Damian’s Contractors Civil will reserve the right to negotiate feasible rates with the recommended subcontractor if necessary.
2. Subcontractors may submit RFQ for all sub-contracts in this RFQ Notice, but only 1 (one) subcontract  will be awarded at any one time for this project.
3. Subcontractors must specify the company’s address, CIDB Grade and the Package that they are   interested in.
4. Grade 1SK & 2SK will be from the Ngqushwa, Raymond Mhlaba and Amahlati Local Municipalities and 3SK & 4SK will be from Buffalo City Metro Municipality and within Amathole District Municipality.. , “If sufficient number of contractors are not found in the specific target area, the target area will be expanded to allow sufficient competition in the tendering process”.

TENDER BRIEFING

There will be no tender briefing. However, tenderers are welcomed to contact the Contractor for any Clarity  needed.
