TENDER NOTICE
SUBCONTRACT FOR THE ROUTINE ROAD MAINTENANCE OF NATIONAL ROUTE 10 SECTION 5 TO 8 BETWEEN KOPPIESKRAAL AND OMDRAAI VLEI
EXPIDOR 103 CC invites tenders from experienced contractors for Contract N.010-058-2019/1 Routine Road Maintenance of National Route 10 from Koppieskraal to Omdraai Vlei on behalf of The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL). This project is for CIDB Grade 5CE and higher, in the province of the Northern Cape and in the District Municipality of Pixley ka Seme.

The successful bidder must have the required plant readily available at tender award stage. Proof of access to the following plant must accompany the tender submission:
The approximate duration of this contract is 1 month.
Only tenderers who meet all the eligibility criteria under clause 4.1.1 of the Tender Data will be considered.
It is estimated that tenderers should have a CIDB contractor grading designation as indicated in the table below:

The tenderers attention is drawn to clause 4.1.1 of the Tender Data for the work package when submitting their tender.
Tenders from tenderers registered as potentially emerging enterprises but with a CIDB contractor grading designation lower than a contractor grading designation determined in accordance with the sum tendered, or a value determined in accordance with Regulation 25(1B) or 25(7A) of the Construction Industry Development Regulations, will not be accepted.
Only locally produced or locally manufactured products and components for construction with a stipulated minimum threshold for local content and production as stated in the Tender Data will be considered.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.
A tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one tenderer at the compulsory meeting.
Tender documents are available at no cost in electronic format on CD. Tenderers must have access to Microsoft Office © 2013 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0, or similar compatible software.
The physical address for the collection of tender documents is the EXPIDOR 103 CC site office, 18 Oxford Street, De Aar, 7000 where tender documents may be collected from 05 August 2022 during the hours 08:00 to 16:00 (Monday to Friday). Alternatively, Tenderers may request tender documents electronically via email from 05 August 2022 from the following email address ramagangjohannes@gmail.com.
Please be advised that the route will not be travelled and that it will be the responsibility of each tenderer to acquaint themselves with the route and its condition.
A compulsory tender clarification briefing with representatives of the Project Management Team will be conducted through the virtual meeting on Microsoft Teams, on 05 August 2022 for 5 CE and higher contractors at 10:00am. The tender clarification briefing log in details are as follows:
