BVi Consulting Engineers Western Cape (Pty) Ltd, as the Professional Engineering Service Provider, appointed by the South African National Roads Agency SOC Ltd (SANRAL), hereby invites experienced entities with professional staff, who operate within the Chris Hani District Municipality area, to apply for the sub-contracted position of Social Facilitator for the provision of social facilitation services during the design and construction stages.
The project is located on National Route R410 from Section 1 (km 0.0 to km 37.74) to Section 2 (km 0.0 to km 3.0), situated in the Chris Hani District Municipality in the Eastern Cape Province. Construction will take place over two separate phases, commencing in September 2025, where Phase 1 has a duration of 36 months and Phase 2 has a duration of 24 months.
Only those tenderers who meet the following minimum requirements are eligible to submit tenders:
Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database as stated in the Tender Data 4.1.1, are eligible to tender,
Must be in possession of a valid B-BBEE certificate or in the case of an Exempted Micro Enterprise (EME) / Qualifying Small Enterprise (QMS) a sworn affidavit is to be submitted,
Meet the minimum requirements as stated in Tender Data 4.1.1.
Entities with the required experience are therefore invited to submit a tender to undertake social facilitation services. A clarification meeting will not be held, but prospective tenderers must familiarise themselves with the site.

Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1: Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender within seven (7) days from the tender advertisement date. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive, if “any material amendment/s” contained in the addenda or additional information is not included in the tender offer/submission.

The closing time and date for submission of tenders is 11h00 on 16 May 2025
Only tender offers submitted electronically on flash drive and delivered to the address specified in the Tender Data will be accepted. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted.
