FOR EMERGENCY SLOPE STABILISATION REMEDIAL WORK ON NATIONAL ROUTE 7 SECTION 4 TO 7 BETWEEN MELKBOOM (KM 35.40) AND KERSBOSCH FONTEIN (KM 65.71)

TENDER NOTICE

CLOSING DATE: Thursday 19 June 2025 at 10:00am

Damians Contractors Civil invites specialist contractors tender for Contract N.007-047-2022/1 for estimated 1 month EMERGENCY SLOPE STABILISATION REMEDIAL WORK ON NATIONAL ROUTE 7 SECTION 7 NEAR GARIES IN THE NORTHERN CAPE KM 19.18 TO KM 19.29.

Preferences are offered to prospective tenderers from the targeted area, namely the Matzikama & Kammiesberg Local Municipality. This tender will be evaluated in terms of functionality as a criterion and the price and preference points system.

Tenderers who satisfy the following criteria are eligible to submit tenders:

1. Registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD).
2. Registered as “active” with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) in the relevant contractor grade and class designation.

An award will only be made to preferred Tenderers that are:

1. Compliant with the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COID); and
2. Tax Compliant.

1. Damians Contractor’s Civil will reserve the right to negotiate feasible rates with the preferred tenderers if necessary.

TENDERERS BRIEFING

A non-compulsory information briefing meetings and a training session will take place online, Thursday 04 June 2025 at 12:00pm. A Microsoft teams link will be provided to those that are interested in attending the briefing session.

SUB-CONTRACT TENDER DOCUMENTS

Tender documents will be sent via email. The file will contain an electronic copy of the tender document in WORD format and Bill of Quantities in EXCEL format. The documents within the folder must be printed after it has been completed with all the relevant supporting documents, bound and submitted or via USB by means of a scanned copy of the tender document, fully priced Bill of Quantities and all returnable schedules.

CLOSING TIME, COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

Where applicable, the tender and supporting documents must be sealed in an envelope and clearly marked:
