REQUEST FOR SMME ENTITIES TO ATTEND PRE-TENDER TRAINING.

The ACS/Tjeka joint venture has been awarded a project for the development of SMME enterprises in the construction industry.

The aim of the project is to upskill SMME enterprises in business and tendering skills, to enhance their knowledge when tendering for any construction projects in the future.

The training will be for a period of 15 days per trainee plus 7 days assessments. The exact duration will be decided once the applications have been screened.

SMME enterprises must take note that the training is offered free of charge, but the SMME must sacrifice their time as NO stipend will be payable, but lunch will be provided.

Interested companies are encouraged to apply for the training programme by submitting the following certified and valid documents for pre-qualification:

• Registration with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC),
• CIDB registration – Grades 1 to 4 CE (Note: active membership),
• SARS tax compliance,
• Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) of National Treasury.
• Proof of highest school qualification (Certificate or letter on schools’ letterhead
• Proof of residence of the owner of the business.
• Letter of commitment to attend the training for the 22 day period.

The project is for the training in all Provinces of South Africa, but priority consideration will be given to the following Province as a matter of urgency:
