Nothule Solutions (Pty) Ltd invites tenders on behalf of the Applicant, the South African National Roads Agency SOC limited, for the Subservice of managing the environmental process and monitoring environmental compliance during construction for Environmental Subservices for the Improvement of National Route 18 Section 1 From Warrenton (Km 0.00) To NC/NW Border (Km 54.59). This project is in the province of the Northern Cape Province and the District Municipality of John Frances Baard. The approximate programme for N.018 Section 1, for which Environmental Authorisation is required, is to be completed by June 2026, and all Environmental authorisation is in place to allow the construction tender process to start in September 2026, followed by construction monitoring of 39 months, commencing December 2026.

The N18 Section 1 project is situated within the Northern Cape Province and traverses two local municipalities. The project entails the improvement of National Route 18 Section 1, which commences at kilometre 0.00 in the town of Warrenton, located within the jurisdiction of the Magareng Local Municipality, and terminates at kilometre 54.59 at the Northern Cape/North-West provincial boundary near Hartswater, which falls under the Phokwane Local Municipality. Both municipalities are located within the Frances Baard District Municipality.

Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database as stated in the Tender Data, Clause 4.1.1 are eligible to tender.

TENDER DOCUMENTS

Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to 04 July 2025. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive, if “any material amendment/s” contained in the addenda or additional information are not included in the tender offer/submission.

COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 11:00 on Friday, 25 July 2025.

Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile, and late tenders will not be accepted.
