TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1)

 

Mikros Traffic Monitoring (Pty) Ltd invites tenders from Targeted Enterprises subcontractors for Contract 53000/1002/2022/M-ST/SC/2 for the provision of manual traffic counts and Electronic Short-Term Traffic Counts in accordance with the requirements of The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL).  This project is in the Gauteng & North West, Limpopo & Mpumalanga provinces of South Africa.

  • SANRAL 53000/1002/2022/M/SC1-GT: Manual Traffic Counts in Northern Region 1 (Gauteng & North West)
  • SANRAL 53000/1002/2022/ST/SC2-GT: Electronic Short-Term Traffic Counts in Gauteng Province
  • SANRAL 53000/1002/2022/ST/SC3-NW: Electronic Short-Term Traffic Counts in North West Province

 

PACKAGE NR2

  • SANRAL 53000/1002/2022/M/SC1-MP: Manual Traffic Counts in Northern Region 2 (Mpumalanga & Limpopo)
  • SANRAL 53000/1002/2022/ST/SC2-MP: Electronic Short-Term Traffic Counts in Mpumalanga Province
  • SANRAL 53000/1002/2022/ST/SC3-LP: Electronic Short-Term Traffic Counts in Limpopo Province

 

The duration of the subcontract is from tender award up to the end of the Service Provider’s contract.

 

PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

  1. Only tenderers who are at least 51% Black owned, who is an EME/EME start up and meet the definition of a Targeted Enterprise as defined in D1002.1 are eligible to tender for the Manual Traffic Counts tenders.

 

  1. Only tenderers who are at least 51% Black owned, who is an EME/EME start up or QSE and meet the definition of a Targeted Enterprise as defined in D1002.1 are eligible to tender for the Electronic Short-Term Traffic Counts tenders.

 

  1. Only tenders that are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database, meet the minimum requirements for key person’s minimum staff requirements, minimum equipment and office locations as stated in the Tender Data C.2.1, are eligible to tender.

 

SUBCONTRACT TENDER DOCUMENTS

 

Tender documents are available at no cost in electronic format on the SANRAL SMME website (https://sanralesdd.co.za/tender-search/advertised/1) .  Tenderers must have access to MS Office ©2013 and Acrobat Adobe ©9.0, or similar compatible software.

 

Tenderers must submit, via email, (enterprise.support@syntell.co.za) the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to seven (7) days after the date of the tender advertisement.  Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.

 

TENDERER’S MEETING

 

A compulsory tender clarification briefing with representatives of the Project Management Team will take place at the following SANRAL Offices on Wednesday, 28 September 2022.

COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

 

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 11h00 on 19 October 2022.
