TENDER NOTICE: INVITATION TO TENDER FOR PURCHASE AND REMOVAL OF VMS SCRAP METAL

Invitation to tender for CONTRACT NRA X.005-033-2019/1 – IR/01: PURCHASE AND REMOVAL OF VMS SCRAP METAL in accordance with the requirements of The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL). This project is in the Western Cape province.

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (“SANRAL”) is the owner of Variable Message Sign (VMS) scrap metal stacked at the Huguenot Toll Plaza.

Prospective tenderers are invited to submit an offer to purchase, weigh, collect and remove the scrap metal as detailed in the Scope of Work and Offer to Purchase.

Tenders will be evaluated on price and preference.

TENDER DOCUMENTS

Tender documents are available at no cost in electronic format downloadable from the Tolcon Group website (www.tolcongroup.co.za) and SANRAL’s online Supplier Development portal (https://sanralesdd.co.za/publications).  Tenderers must have access to MS Office ©2013 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0, or similar compatible software to open and print the document.

SITE VISIT/VIEWING

All site visits/viewings will be based on appointments made with Anton Struwig on 084 585 1398 and tolcontenders@tolcon.co.za.  Appointments will only be scheduled from 09:00 to 15:00 on 1 August 2025.

PPE must be worn on all SANRAL sites on viewing/visits.  You will not be granted access to the site if the minimum PPE is not worn.
