Contract Description
The Service Provider Mikros Traffic Monitoring (Pty) Ltd (MTM) invites tenders from Targeted Enterprises for the provision of a maintenance service on the toll traffic monitoring contract on the TRAC and Bakwena concession roads for targeted enterprises. This project is in the province of Gauteng, North-West and Mpumalanga. The duration of the subcontract is from tender award up to the end of the Service Provider’s contract on 30 November 2026.

      1. TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1)

The Service Provider Mikros Traffic Monitoring (Pty) Ltd (MTM) invites tenders from Targeted Enterprises for the provision of a maintenance service on the toll traffic monitoring contract on the TRAC and Bakwena concession roads for targeted enterprises. This project is in the province of Gauteng, North-West and Mpumalanga. The duration of the subcontract is from tender award up to the end of the Service Provider’s contract on 30 November 2026.

 

PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

 

    1. Only tenders with offices located in Gauteng, North-West or Mpumalanga are eligible to tender.

 

    1. Only tenderers who are at least 51% Black owned, who is an EME Start-up/EME or QSE and meet the definition of a Targeted Enterprise as defined in D1.2.1 are eligible to tender.

 

    1. Only tenderers who comply with the functionality criteria for: Key Persons; as stated in the Tender Data, are eligible to tender.

 

    1. Only tenderers with at least one light delivery vehicle per maintenance team will be eligible to tender.

 

    1. Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database, are eligible to tender.

 

Tenderers must take note that the equipment of the Service Provider will be used in this contract.

 

Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.

 

SUBCONTRACT TENDER DOCUMENTS

Tenderers must have access to MS Office ©2013 and Acrobat Adobe ©9.0, or similar compatible software.

 

Tenderers must submit, via email (enterprise.support@syntell.co.za ), the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to seven (7) days after the date of the tender advertisement.  Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.

 

TENDERER’S CLARIFICATION

 

A compulsory tender clarification briefing including tender training with representatives of the Service Provider and SANRAL will take place on 5 October 2022 at 09:00 at the following SANRAL offices:

Tenders from Late arrivals will not be allowed, and their submissions shall be declared non-responsive.

 

COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

 

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 11h00 on 26 October 2022.

 

Only tender offers submitted as a printed and bound hard copy as well as submitted electronically on flash drive and delivered to the address specified in the Tender Data will be accepted.
