T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (INCORPORATING SBD1)
CLOSING DATE: 03 NOVEMBER 2025 (AT 11:00)

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) on behalf of MBSA Consulting CC invites suitably experienced Social Facilitation Practitioners for undertaking the requisite functions for the construction implementation stages of the Strengthening of the National Route R75 Section 2 between from km 32.00 to km 39.40 and Km 71.78 to Km 91.98, Including Section 3 from km0.00 to km 0.40

This project is in the province of the Eastern Cape and in the Sarah Baartman District Municipality and within Sundays River Valley Local Municipality and the last ±3km of the road is located within the Dr Beyers Naude Local Municipality under the Sarah Baartman District Municipality. The project will have an estimated construction period of 27 months, including mobilization of 3 months, commencing June 2026.

Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.
The tenderers will be evaluated on functionality (Relevant Past Experience) criteria with a minimum threshold of 60%.

Only those tenderers who satisfy the following criteria are eligible to submit tenders:
(a) Companies that are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database with the registration address specifically in the Sundays River Valley Local Municipality and Dr Beyers Naude Local Municipality.
(b) Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database as stated in the Tender Data C.2.1.1, are eligible to tender.
(c) Meet the minimum requirements for the key persons as stated in the Scope of Works.

TENDER DOCUMENTS
Tender documents are available from 13 October 2025 at no cost, in electronic format from the SANRAL website.

Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender within seven (7) days (20 October 2025) from the tender advertisement date to Mr. Moeketsi Motaung who may be reached only by e-mail at Mr. Moeketsi Motaung (moeketsi@mbsaconsultants.com).

Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.

Tender documents will be issued in electronic format in a return email and tenderers must have access to Microsoft © Word 2007 and Excel 2007 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0 or similar compatible software.

No compulsory tender clarification meeting will be applicable to this tender.
