REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FOR POSITION OF SOCIAL FACILITATOR (PRE-CONTRUCTION AND CONSTRUCTION STAGES)

Naidu Consulting (Pty) Ltd as the Professional Engineering Service Provider appointed by the South African National Roads Agency SOC Ltd (SANRAL), hereby invites experienced professional individuals or entities with professional staff, who reside and operate within the Eastern Cape Province, to apply for the contracted position of Social Facilitator for the provision of Social Facilitation services during the pre-construction and construction stages of the above mentioned project.
The intention of the appointment of the Social Facilitator is primarily to provide social facilitation services during the construction stages. He/she must ensure sharing of project information with all interested and affected groups and the engagement of local communities, traditional authorities, and government departments on this national road strengthening project within the province.
This project spans the entire Eastern Cape Province and will be divided into three distinct areas, with three Social Facilitators to be appointed – one for each area.
Tenderers are required to:

• Indicate their preferred area by ranking them from 1st to 3rd (1st being the most preferred option).
• Complete the applicable Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for the area(s) they wish to be considered for.

He/she shall identify community issues pertaining to the project and manage stakeholder expectations.
He/she must be familiar with the local social dynamics, language, and culture.

Tenderers must submit, via email, sthabile.sibiya@naiduconsulting.com the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to the 22nd October 2025. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.

Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data. Tenders must be submitted in electronic format on flash drive and printed hardcopy.

Requirements for completing, sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are as follows:
1. Tenderers shall submit their tender offers in the specified electronic format on flash drive and printed hardcopy in an envelope at the Client’s address specified above.
