FOR THE ROUTINE MAINTENANCE NATIONAL OF ELECTRICAL LIGHTING INFRASTRUCTURE ON NATIONAL ROUTE N1 SECTION 21 (6.20 KM TO 33.40 KM), N4 SECTION 1 (8.20 KM TO 20.20 KM), AND R21 SECTION 2 (7.10 KM TO 19.00 KM)
SGT ELECTRICAL (PTY) LTD invites tenders from EME subcontractors who are Black Youth, Black Women, Black Military Veterans, or Black Persons with Disabilities for Contract SANRAL: X.002-206- 2025/9 – Routine Road Maintenance of National Route N1-21 from (6.20 to 33.40km), N4-1 from (8.20 to 20.20km), and R21-2 from (17.10 to 19.00km), in accordance with the requirements of the South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL). This project is located in Gauteng, within the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality.

The maximum duration is 15 months without an option to extend. CIDB Regulation 25(1B) will be applicable to this contract.
Only tenderers who are at least 51% Black-owned, who are an EME start-up, and who meet the definition of a Targeted Enterprise as defined in C3.2.2.5 are eligible to tender.
Only tenderers that meet the eligibility criteria under clause C.2.1 of the Tender Data will be considered. .
Only tenderers who meet the minimum functionality score stated in clause C.3.5 will be evaluated further on price and preference.
It is estimated that tenderers should have a CIDB contractor grading designation as indicated in the table below, except for supplier tenderers. .

The tenderers attention is drawn to clause 4.1.1 of the Tender Data for each work package when submitting their tender.
Only locally produced or locally manufactured products and components for construction with a stipulated minimum threshold for local content and production as stated in the Tender Data will be considered.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.

Tenderers must submit the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender via email to tenders@sgtelectricals.co.za by 12 March 2026. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being
non-responsive, if “any material amendment/s” contained in the addenda or additional information is not included in the tender offer/submission.
TENDERERS’ BRIEFING LOCATION
Compulsory briefing session shall be conducted as follows:

It is compulsory that tenderers familiarize themselves with the contents of the tender documents.
