SCOPE OF WORKS:

• Provide accredited training for: Meet the requirements of being a safe driver to obtain a valid driving license for a motor vehicle in accordance with the National Road Traffic Act.
• Training must be accredited with SAQA: SAQA US ID 243666, no unaccredited service provider will be accepted as part of the request for quotation.
• If the company that submits a quotation does not possess the required accreditation, an SLA (Service level agreement) agreement between the company submitting a quotation and the 3^rd party training provider (3^rd party training provider can be from outside Kgetlengrivier LM) who will conduct the accredited training. Proof of accreditation of the 3^rd party should also be submitted. Training must also include all fees and facilitation relating to obtaining a valid learners license as well as a driver’s license. • The training must also include the relevant testing fees and facilitation to obtain a valid CODE 10 driver’s license (including learners license) from the traffic department.
• Only 1 x testing per delegate will be allowed. If the delegate fails the learner license and / or driving test, any additional cost will be for the delegate’s own account.
• Provide a suitable training venue (For example: Church buildings, Traditional Authority Office, Unused Business Buildings, Community Halls, etc.). Training provider responsibility.
• Training Venues to be located within Kgetlengrivier Local Municipality.
• Provide all required materials for training including stationery.
• All training should be completed within 6 months. (Start of training up to successful testing to obtain driver’s license)
• A maximum of ten (10) driving lessons shall be given to a delegate and all costs associated with the driving lessons shall be included in the quote.
• Quotation should include 2 x meals (Breakfast & Lunch including water) per training days for all delegates - deemed to be included in the training quote.
• Training provider to provide transport to and from the training venue for all delegates for all training days – deemed to be included in the training quote.
• Quantity of Trainees/delegates: The estimated number of delegates is around ±125 from the Kgetlengrivier Local Municipality. The final number of delegates may vary to ensure that the allowable budget is not exceeded.
