TENDER NOTICE

CLOSING DATE: 11:00, 15th April 2026

Roadspan Surfaces (PTY) LTD invites qualifying EME and QSE sub-contractors to a tender briefing session for sub-contracts part for the R.027-100-2023/1R Periodic Maintenance (Resurfacing) On National Route R27 Section 10 From Brandvlei (Km 0.00) To Kenhardt(Km 141.96) on behalf of the South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL). This project is in the Province of the Northern Cape and in the Hantam Local Municipality (Namakwa District Municipality) & The Kai! Garib Local Municipality, and the ZF MGCAWU District Municipality.

Preferences are offered to prospective tenderers from the targeted area, namely the Hantam Local Municipality (Namakwa District Municipality) & The Kai! Garib Local Municipality (ZF MGCAWU District Municipality), and within the boundaries of Northern Cape. This tender will be evaluated in terms of functionality as a criterion and the price and preference point system. Tenderers who satisfy the following criteria are eligible to submit tenders:

  1. Valid B-BBEE certificate, or Affidavit declaring B-BBEE status
  2. Exempted Micro Enterprise (EME) or Qualifying Small Enterprise (QSE).
  3. Registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD).
  4. Company Registration Documentation (CIPC)

An award will only be made to preferred Tenderers that are:

  1. Compliant with the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COID); and
  2. Tax Compliant
  3. Registration with BCCEI.

Sub-contractors are required for the following subcontracts:

  1. Package (SC06)   for   Public Transport Operators - 2 No.
  2. Package (SC07)   for   Training- 1 No
  3. Package (SC08)   for   Plant Hire Water Trucks- 1 No.
  4. Package (SC09)   for   The Installation of Road Studs- 1 No.
  5. Package (SC010) for   The Installation of Road Signs- 1 No.
  6. Package (SC011) for   Road Marking – 1 No.
  7. Package (SC012) for   Plant Hire 7m3 Trucks – 1No.
  8. Package (SC014) for   Transportation of Aggregates from Quarry to Site – 1No.
  9. Package (SC016) for   Supply & Spreading Cement Stabilising – 2No.

Note to Tenderers:

    1. Roadspan Surfaces (PTY) LTD will reserve the right to negotiate reasonable rates with the preferred tenderers if necessary.
    2. Tenderers may submit tenders for all sub-contracts in this Tender Notice, but only 1 (one) subcontract will be let per preferred Tenderer at any one time for this project.
    3. Tenderers to supply all the required documentation before the tender closure.

A tender information briefing session will take place 1 Park Street, Kenhardt(!Kai Garib Municipal Building), Northern Cape, 8900 coordinates (-29.3488091, 21.069698) ) and LIVE STREAM from The Brandvlei Municipal Buildings on the 10th of April 2026 at 11h00. Prospective tenderers may attend the briefing at either of the two aforementioned venues. Tender documents will be made available via email.

 

The tender and supporting documents shall be sealed in an envelope and clearly marked:

“Sub-Contract to R.027-100-2023/1R/2025-RS_SC(xx) – (Package Name)” shall be delivered to 1080 Main Street, Kenhardt, Northern Cape, 8900 coordinates (-29.3458, 21.1444) between the hours 09:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday.

The Tender Documentation for this Packages in this Tender Notice shall reach the stipulated address no later than 11:00 on 15th of April 2026.
