GINGORDIN METHODS TRADING invites tenders from experienced EME/QSE subcontractors for Contract SANRAL R.062-070-2024/1 for the SUPPLY AND ERECTION OF NEW FENCE, INCLUDING REPAIRS TO THE EXISTING OLD FENCE under the SPECIAL MAINTENANCE ON NATIONAL ROUTE R62 SECTION 7BETWEEN JOUBERTINA (KM 0.0) AND KAREEDOUW (KM 42.50) on behalf of the South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL). This project is in the province of Eastern Cape and in the Kou-Kamma Local Municipality.

Preferences are offered to prospective tenderers from the targeted area, namely the Kou-Kamma Local Municipality, as well as the CIDB grade and class indicated for the subcontract package. This tender will be evaluated in terms of functionality as a criterion and the price and preference points system. Tenderers who satisfy the eligibility criteria in the tender data are eligible to submit tenders.

a) Registered with the Company Intellectual and Property Commission (CIPC)
b) Registered with the Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBB-EE)
c) Registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD).
d) Registered as “active” with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) in the relevant contractor grade and class designation

1 x Supply and Erection of New Fencing R62-070-2024/1FE-WP2E

Note to Tenderers:
a) GINGORDIN METHODS TRADING will reserve the right to negotiate feasible rates with the preferred tenderers if necessary.
b) Tenderers may submit tenders for all sub-contracts in this Tender Notice, but only 1 (one) subcontract will be let per preferred Tenderer at any one time for this project

A compulsory tender clarification briefing will take place at Gingordin Methods Trading Site Office, Die Stoor, Melkhoutkraal, R62, Kareedouw, Kou-Kamma Municipality, on Monday, 17 August 2026 at 11:00am.Tender documents are available at no cost for collection in hardcopy from Gingordin Methods TradingSite Office, Die Stoor, Melkhoutkraal, R62, Kareedouw, Kou-Kamma Municipality, during the hours 09h00 to 16h00 (Monday to Friday), from 17 August 2026.

Tenderers must be represented at the information briefing meeting by a representative who must be the Tenderer himself or an authorized person in the direct employment of the Tenderer.

Late arrivals to the compulsory clarification briefing session will not be allowed, and their submissions shall be declared non-responsive.
The tender and supporting documents shall be sealed in an envelope and clearly marked:

For Subcontract: R62-070-2024/1FE-WP2A-E – SUPPLY AND ERECTION OF NEW FENCE, INCLUDING REPAIRS TO THE EXISTING OLD FENCE and shall be delivered by hand to the Contractor’s address as stated in the Tender Data.
