CALL FOR AN EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Roadmac Surfacing (Pty) Ltd invites submissions from EME/QSE subcontractors and suppliers for CONTRACT SANRAL R031-070-2024/1- THE PERIODIC MAINTENANCE (RESURFACING) ON NATIONAL ROUTE R31, SECTION 7, FROM DELPORTSHOOP (KM 0.00) TO BARKLY WEST (KM 30.61) endorsed by The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL).

This project is within the Northern Cape Province, Francis Baard District Municipality, and the Dikgatlong Local Municipality. We therefore encourage the suppliers and contractors in the DIKGATLONG LOCAL MUNICIPALITY to actively participate in the project.

It is envisaged that subcontractors / suppliers will be required for the following scope of works:

• Drains/ Culverts/ Block paving
• Edge Beams and stone pitching
• Micro Surfacing
• Texture treatment (Slurry)
• Road Restraint Systems (Guardrails)
• Fencing 
• Road Signs
• Road Marking and Road Studs.
• Supply and Service of Chemical Toilets
• Supply and Spray of Bitumen and Emulsion
• Supply and Precoating of Aggregate
• Electrical Streetlight Installation
• Supply of Asphalt
• Labour Transport

Opportunities may vary, depending on the final Scope of Work  

The following documentation will be required from prospective tenderers to compile a Contractor Database of interested parties, and to assist prospective tenderers with compliance to Eligibility and Functionality criteria, as well as Compliance at Tender stage:

• Company Profile, including relevant prior experience.
• Certified copy of CIPC Document, Company Registration and Shareholders Information. 
• Proof of address.
• Identity Documents of Directors
• Valid Tax Clearance Certificate (SARS issued pin).
• B-BBEE Verification Certificate/ Sworn Affidavit. (Indicate Disabled/ Military Veteran/ Woman/ Youth ownership)
• Letter of Good Standing (FEM or COIDA).
• CIDB Certificate (If applicable). Where an application for re-instating of Active status or for upgrading of status has been made with the CIDB in writing and the decision is pending, proof of this application and acknowledgement of receipt of the application by the CIDB is to be provided.
• Registration on the Central Suppliers Database (CSD).
• Registration with the Bargaining Council of the Civil Engineering Industry (BCCEI)
