NOTICE TO SERVICE PROVIDERS

FOR CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE IMPROVEMENT ON NATIONAL ROUTE N7 SECTION 4 FROM TRAWAL (KM 41.50) TO KLAWER (KM 54.00)

1. QUOTATION INVITATION

ON BEHALF OF THE SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONAL ROADS AGENCY SOC LIMITED (SANRAL),  ROYAL MNDAWE HOLDINGS (PTY) LTD (T/A ROMH CONSULTING) AS THE EMPLOYER,

REQUESTS QUOTATIONS FROM SUITABLY EXPERIENCED SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR CULVERT REBAR SCANNING, CONCRETE CORING, COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH TESTING AND AS-BUILT SURVEY FOR EXISTING CULVERTS ON NATIONAL ROUTE N7 SECTION 4 FROM TRAWAL TO KLAWER.

Quotations are requested from suitably experienced Service Providers with the necessary equipment, personnel, technical competence and reporting capability to undertake the required scanning, coring, testing, reinstatement and as-built recording of the existing culvert structures associated with SANRAL N.007-040-2024/1RF FOR CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE IMPROVEMENT ON NATIONAL ROUTE N7 SECTION 4 FROM TRAWAL (KM 41.50) TO KLAWER (KM 54.00).

The RFQ documents will be available from Friday, 21 August 2026 and shall be requested directly from ROMH Consulting by e-mail at:

prenm@romh.co.za and gerritvdw@romh.co.za

The RFQ package will be issued electronically and will include:

• Annexure A – Locality Plan
• Annexure B – Pricing Schedule
• Annexure C – Culvert Location, Site Description and Photographs

Quotations must be headed “CONTRACT SANRAL N.007-040-2024/1RF: REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FOR CULVERT REBAR SCANNING, CONCRETE CORING, COMPRESSIVE  STRENGTH SURVEY” and the name of the firm submitting the quote must be added.

The quotations should be e-mailed in PDF format, with the completed Pricing Schedule submitted in both PDF and Excel format, to : prenm@romh.co.za and gerritvdw@romh.co.za.

The RFQ documents will be available on request will be issued on: Friday, 21 August 2026.

Technical clarification questions must be submitted by no later than 12h00 on Friday, 28 August 2026.

Any clarification or addendum, if required, will be issued by Wednesday, 02 September 2026.

Quotation must be e-mailed by latest 12h00 (noon/midday) on Friday, 11 September 2026.

Late submissions will not be accepted.

The validity period of the quotation shall be 180 days from the closing date.
