REQUEST FOR SMME ENTITIES TO ATTEND PRE-TENDER TRAINING.

The ACS/Tjeka joint venture has been awarded a project for the development of SMME enterprises in the construction industry.

The aim of the project is to upskill SMME enterprises in business and tendering skills, to enhance their knowledge when tendering for any construction projects in the future.

The training will be for a period of 15 days per trainee plus 7 days assessments making a total of 22 days. 

SMME enterprises must take note that the training is offered free of charge, but the SMME must sacrifice their time as NO stipend will be payable, but lunch will be provided.

Interested companies are encouraged to apply for the training programme by submitting the following certified and valid documents for pre-qualification:

• Registration with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC),
• CIDB registration – Grades 1 to 4 CE or GB (Note: active membership), preference will be given to CE however GB will be considered as well.
• SARS tax compliance,
• Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) of National Treasury. (Note: full updated report not older than 3 months) 
• Proof of highest school qualification (Certificate or letter on schools’ letterhead) • Proof of residence of the owner of the business. (Area, Village and ward be specified)
• Letter of commitment to attend the training and assessments for the 22-day period.
