Contract Description
INNOVATIVE TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS (PTY) LTD invites tenders from Targeted Enterprises subcontractors for Contract SANRAL 53000/1002/2023/M-ST/SC/1R/1 in accordance with the requirements of The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL). This project is in the Northern Cape, and Western Cape provinces of South Africa.

Subcontractors are required for the following subcontracts:

 

PACKAGE WR

  • SANRAL 53000/1002/2023/M/SC1-WC: Manual Traffic Counts in Western Region
  • SANRAL 53000/1002/2023/ST/SC2-WC: Electronic Short-Term Traffic Counts in Western Cape Province
  • SANRAL 53000/1002/2023/ST/SC3-NC: Electronic Short-Term Traffic Counts in Northern Cape Province

 

The duration of the subcontract is from tender award up to the end of the Service Provider’s contract.

 

PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

  1. Only tenderers who are at least 51% Black owned, who is an EME/EME start up and meet the definition of a Targeted Enterprise as defined in D1002.1 are eligible to tender for the Manual Traffic Counts tenders.

 

  1. Only tenderers who are at least 51% Black owned, who is an EME/EME start up or QSE and meet the definition of a Targeted Enterprise as defined in D1002.1 are eligible to tender for the Electronic Short-Term Traffic Counts tenders.

 

  1. Only tenders that are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database, meet the minimum requirements for key person’s minimum staff requirements, minimum equipment and office locations as stated in the Tender Data C.2.1, are eligible to tender.

 

SUBCONTRACT TENDER DOCUMENTS

 

Tender documents are available at no cost in electronic format on the SANRAL SMME website (https://sanralesdd.co.za/tender-search/advertised/1) .  Tenderers must have access to MS Office ©2013 and Acrobat Adobe ©9.0, or similar compatible software.

 

Tenderers must submit, via email, (henri@itsglobal.co.za) the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to seven (7) days after the date of the tender advertisement.  Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.

A tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one tenderer at the tender briefing meeting.

Tenders from late arrivals will not be allowed, and their submissions shall be declared non-responsive.

 

COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

 

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 11h00 on 14 April 2023.

 

Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data.

 

Requirements for sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the Tender Data.
