Tenderers must submit the returnable documents and the quotation documents under the subject heading as follows: “CONTRACT NO: SANRAL N.002-250-2020/3- RFQ9-SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF WELD MESH FENCING - TENDERER’S NAME”.

Tenderers who satisfy the following criteria are eligible to submit quotations.

1. At least 51% black owned.

2. The service provider must be registered as a business with CIPC.

3. Exempted Micro Enterprise (EME) or a Qualifying Small Enterprise (QSE)

4. Registered with the South African Revenue Service (SARS)

5. Registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)

6. Compliant with the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COIDA)

7. Preference will be given to service providers that are classified as Persons Living with Disabilities from eThekwini Municipality, ward 65

LIST OF RETURNABLE DOCUMEN

List of Returnable Documents

2.1.1. A valid proof of Persons Living with Disabilities classification.

2.1.2 Certified copy of ID of the company director

2.1.3. Valid original tax clearance certificate

2.1.4. A full central supplier database (CSD) registration report

2.1.5. Company registration document (CIPC/CK)

2.1.6. Letter of Good Standing from the Department of Labour.

2.1.7. Proof of physical address (utility bill/ letter from ward councillor to prove the tenderer’s locality).

2.1.8. Proof of Compliance with the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COIDA)

2.1.9. BBB-EE certificate or affidavit from a SANAS accredited provider

2.1.10. VAT registration document if registered as a VAT vendor.

2.1.11. Quotation document

Failure to submit any of the above documents will render the quotation offer non-responsive

REQUIREMENTS

The provision and installation of approximately 135 m fencing along the SANRAL road reserve boundary of 2.2 m high welded mesh v bend type fencing (Clear-vu or similar approved) with at most 75 mm by 25 mm apertures. The exact start and end positions of the fencing required will be confirmed upon finalization of costing procedures.
