SUB-CONTRACTS FOR THE UPGRADING OF NATIONAL ROUTE R336 BETWEEN KIRKWOOD AND ADDO: PHASE 2 FROM KM 30,5 – KM 48,2

C2GLTA JV (Pty) Ltd invites experienced EME and QSE sub-contractors, suppliers and service providers to a tender briefing session for Contract R.336-010-2017/2 for the UPGRADING OF NATIONAL ROUTE R336 BETWEEN KIRKWOOD AND ADDO: PHASE 2 FROM KM 30,5 – KM 48,2 on behalf of the South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL). This project is in the province of the Eastern Cape and in the district municipality of Sarah Baartman.
Preferences are offered to prospective tenderers from the targeted area, namely the Sundays River Valley Local Municipality, as well as the CIDB grades and classes indicated for each sub-contract package (where applicable). This tender will be evaluated in terms of functionality as a criterion and the price and preference points system. Tenderers who satisfy the following criteria are eligible to submit tenders:

1 x Precast Concrete Barriers Package (CIDB 4CE)
1 x Clearing and grubbing & Disposal of hazardous waste material Package (CIDB 2CE)
1 x Conservation of vegetation & Topsoil Package (CIDB 1CE)
5 x Loading & Hauling (Fill & Selected) Packages (CIDB 3CE)
1 x Hand excavation to locate existing services Package (CIDB 1CE)
1 x Supply of office consumables, PPE, safety signs & equipment Package (No CIDB Grading)
1 x Transport of PLC members & Transport for site inspections (No CIDB Grading)
1 x Training Package (No CIDB Grading)
1 x Chemical Toilets Package (No CIDB Grading)
1 x Security Package (No CIDB Grading)
1 x Catering Package (No CIDB Grading)
1 x Supply of Fuel Package (No CIDB Grading)
Note to Tenderers:
A compulsory information briefing meeting and a training session will take place at the Valentine Hall, opposite Homestead B&B in Valentine Rd, Addo on 28 June 2023 at 10:00 am where prospective Tenderers shall meet the Contractor.
Tender documents will be made available at the information briefing in the form of a CD. The CD will contain an electronic copy of the tender document, in PDF format. Only the documents within the folder named “Returnable Document” must be printed, bound and completed with all the relevant supporting documents attached.
Tenderers must be represented at the information briefing meeting by a representative who must be the Tenderer himself or an authorised person in the direct employment of the Tenderer.
Late arrivals to the compulsory information briefing meeting will not be allowed access, and therefore will not be allowed to submit a tender. Such tenders received, shall be deemed non-responsive.
The tender and supporting documents shall be sealed in an envelope and clearly marked:
“Sub-Contract R.336-010-2017/2 - 01 for (relevant sub-contract name, e.g., Routine Road Maintenance Package) and shall be delivered by hand to C2GLTA JV Site Office, Hermitage, Main Rd, Erf behind Humansdorp Co-op, Addo between the hours 09:00 to 16:00.

The Tender Documentation for all packages in this Tender Notice shall reach the stipulated address no later than 10:00 AM on WEDNESDAY, 19 JULY 2023.
