T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (INCORPORATING SBD1)

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) on behalf of Nexor 312 (Pty) Ltd invites suitably experienced Social Facilitation practitioners for undertaking the requisite functions for the construction implementationstages of the Special Maintenance of the National Route R62 Section 7 between Joubertina (km 0.00) and Kareedouw (42.50).
This project is in the province of the Eastern Cape and in the Sarah Baartman District Municipality and within Kou-
Kamma Local Municipality. The project will have an estimated construction period of 24 months, including mobilization of 3 months, commencing November 2023.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.
The tenderers will be evaluated on functionality (Relevant Past Experience) criteria with a minimum threshold of 60%.
Only those tenderers who satisfy the following criteria are eligible to submit tenders:
(a) Companies that are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database with the registration address specifically in the Kou-Kamma Local Municipality.
(b) Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database as stated in the Tender Data C.2.1.1, are eligible to tender.
(c) Meet the minimum requirements for the key persons as stated in the Scope of Works.
TENDER DOCUMENTS
Tender documents are available from 7 JULY 2023 at no cost, in electronic format from the SANRAL website.
Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender within seven(7) days (14 JULY 2023) from the tender advertisement date to Mr. Lumanye Filtane who may be reached only by email at Mr. Lumanye Filtane (FiltaneL@nra.co.za).
Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.
Tender documents will be issued in electronic format in a return email and tenderers must have access to Word 2007 and Excel 2007 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0 or similar compatible software.
TENDERER’S MEETING
No compulsory tender clarification meeting will be applicable to this tender.
COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS
The closing time and date for receipt of tenders is 11:00 on 28 JULY 2023
Only tender offers submitted as specified in the Tender Data will be accepted.
