The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites Joint Ventures between suitably experienced, SANAS accredited laboratories and Targeted Partners for undertaking site laboratory testing in accordance with SANS 3001 for THE IMPROVEMENT OF NATIONAL ROUTE R63 SECTIONS 15 AND 16 FROM BHISHO (KM 5.8) TO THE N6 BRIDGE INTERSECTION (KM 1.0This project is in the province of Eastern Cape and in the district municipality of Buffalo City Metropolitan municipality and the approximate duration is of thirty six (36) months, commencing 19 May 2023.

T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (INCORPORATING SBD1)


CLOSING DATE (AT 11:00): Friday, 15 September 2023


The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites Joint Ventures between suitably experienced, SANAS accredited laboratories and Targeted Partners for undertaking site laboratory testing in accordance with SANS 3001 for THE IMPROVEMENT OF NATIONAL ROUTE R63 SECTIONS 15 AND 16 FROM BHISHO (KM 5.8) TO THE N6 BRIDGE INTERSECTION (KM 1.0This project is in the province of Eastern Cape and in the district municipality of Buffalo City Metropolitan municipality and the approximate duration is of thirty six (36) months, commencing 19 May 2023.


Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.


The tenderers will be evaluated on functionality (quality) criteria with a threshold of 70%.


Only tenderer who are a Joint Ventures (JV), meet the minimum requirements for the key persons and are registered on CSD as stated in clause 4.1.1 will be eligible to tender.

Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender within seven (7) days from the tender advertisement date. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.


Tender documents will be issued in electronic format in a return email and tenderers must have access to Microsoft © Word 2007 and Excel 2007 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0 or similar compatible software.


TENDERER’S MEETING


No compulsory tender clarification meeting will be applicable to this tender.


COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS


The electronic address for CLOSING of tender documents will be provided to tenderers upon submission of Form A1.1.
The closing time and date for receipt of tenders is 11:00 on Friday, 15 September 2023
Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data.
