TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION AND INVITATION TO TENDER (INCORPORATING SBD1)

 

CLOSING DATE (AT 11:00):     Friday 8 September 2023

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) on behalf of Civil Design Equilibrium (Pty) Ltd invites Joint Ventures between suitably experienced, SANAS accredited laboratories and Targeted Partners for undertaking site laboratory testing in accordance with SANS 3001 for Periodic Maintenance (Repair And Reseal) On National Route 2 Section 6 From Dekriet (Km 25.40) To Gouritz River (Km 53.00) And For The Periodic Maintenance (Repair And Reseal) On National Route 2 Section 6 From Gouritz (Km 53.00) To Mossel Bay West (Km 82.50) .

This project is in the province of Western Cape and in the district municipality of Garden Route and the approximate duration is of 2 months mobilization and 14 months. Construction has commenced on 16 August 2023.

 

Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.

The tenderers will be evaluated on functionality (quality) criteria with a threshold of 65 %.

Only tenderer who are a Joint Ventures (JV), meet the minimum requirements for the key persons and are registered on CSD as stated in clause 4.1.1 will be eligible to tender.

 Tenderers must submit, via email to niel@cdeq.co.za, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender by Wednesday 30 August 2023. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.

 

TENDERER’S MEETING

A compulsory clarification meeting will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams at 10:00 on Friday 1 September 2023. Invites for the clarification meeting will be sent to tenderers who submit the duly completed form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender by Wednesday 30 August 2023.

COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

The closing time and date for receipt of tenders is 11:00 on Friday 8 September 2023.

Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted.

Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data.
