HEREBY INVITES QUALIFYING TARGETED ENTERPRISES FOR THE SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONAL ROADS AGENCY SOC LIMITED UNDER CONTRACT SANRAL N.003-023-2017/9 FOR THE UPGRADE OF NATIONAL ROUTE 3, SECTIONS 2 AND 3, FROM LYNNFIELD PARK (KM 30.6) TO ASHBURTON (KM 0.8)

TENDER PRE-REQUISITES

1. Only tenderers who comply with the definition of a Targeted Enterprise under clause 4.1.1 and are at least 51% Black-owned and who is an EME or QSE or co-operative, are eligible to tender.

2. In addition, preference will be given to Targeted Enterprises that are at least 51% owned by Black people who are youth or women.

3. CIDB contractor grading designation of 5CE.

4. Tenderers to note that should they be awarded; they will be provided with a CIDB Grade 1CE or 2CE Contractor with whom they will have to work with on the project and provide mentorship to. The exact terms will be negotiated upon contract award.
