EXPRESSION OF INTEREST NOTICE

CONTRACT SANRAL N.002–060–2021/2: FOR THE PERIODIC MAINTENANCE (REPAIR AND RESEAL) ON NATIONAL ROUTE 2 SECTION 6 FROM DEKRIET (KM 25.40) TO GOURITZ RIVER (KM 53.00)

AND

CONTRACT SANRAL N.002–060–2022/1: FOR THE PERIODIC MAINTENANCE (REPAIR AND RESEAL) ON NATIONAL ROUTE 2 SECTION 6 FROM GOURITZ (KM 53.00) TO MOSSEL BAY WEST (KM 82.50)

Tau Pele Construction (Pty) Ltd is inviting prospective contractors, service delivery specialists and suppliers within the Local Municipalities (LMs) of Hessequa and Mossel Bay and District Municipality (DM) of Garden Route to submit an expression of interest in the following fields:

• Security On Site

• Delivery, Anchorage and Maintenance of Chemical toilets

• Supply of Diesel Fuel to Site • Supply and Haulage of Asphalt

• Haulage of Seal Aggregate

• Accommodation of Traffic and Road Signs

• Clearing and Grubbing

• Culverts

• Drains

• Concrete Kerbing and Channeling, Asphalt Berms, Chutes, Downpipes, As Well As Concrete, Stone Pitched and Gabion Linings for Open Drains • Patching and Edge Break Repair: Not exceeding 50m² including for edge repairs wider than 250mm.

• Pitching, Stonework, Cast In-Situ Concrete for Protection Against Erosion and Non-Structural Gabions

• Non-Structural Gabions

• Road Restraint Systems

• Fencing • Road Markings and Road Studs

• Finishing the Road and Road Reserve and Treating Old Roads

It is estimated that would need to have an active CIDB contractor grading designation of 1 to 3 and classes of construction work is CE for most of the works except for road signs, road markings and road studs where a SK class of construction work and for fencing where a SQ class of construction work will also be applicable. For supplier packages, no CIDB will be applicable. Where an application for re-instating of Active status or for upgrading of status has been made with the CIDB in writing and the decision is pending, proof of this application and acknowledgement of receipt of the application by the CIDB is to be provided. NO Joint Venture (JV) applications shall be considered.

The following documentation will be required from prospective tenderers:

• Printed copy of the Active Supplier Listing on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database

• Certified copy of CIPC Document, Company Registration and Shareholders Information

• Valid SARS Tax Clearance Certificate or Tax Compliance Status PIN

• Certified copy of Identity Documents of Owner, Directors and/or Shareholding members of the company

• Letter of Good Standing (FEM or COIDA).

• B-BBEE Verification or Sworn Affidavit

• CIDB Certificate (contractors only not suppliers).

Submissions of all the documents as mentioned above in Hardcopy delivered to Tau Pele Construction Site offices at Zoutpan Guest Farm, Albertinia (GPS 34°11'56.9"S 21°28'18.5"E) will be accepted or, must be send to the following e:mail sdyokomba@taupele.co.za.
