T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (SBD1)
LICHENRY / JOB SA JV invites tenders from experienced EME/QSE subcontractors for Contract SANRALN.007-070-2020/1SC-WP1 for the Traffic Accommodation at Piekenierskloof endorsed by The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL). This project is in the province of Western Cape and in the Cederberg Local Municipality and West Coast District Municipality.
Subcontractors are required for the following subcontract:
N.007-070-2020/SC-WP1: for Traffic Accommodation at Piekenierskloof
The approximate duration is 2 Months.
Only tenderers who comply with the definition of a Targeted Enterprise under clause 4.1.1 and are at least 51% Black owned and who is an EME or QSE or cooperative, are eligible to tender.
Only tenderers that meet all the eligibility criteria under clause 4.1.1 of the Tender Data will be considered.
Only tenderers who meet the minimum functionality score as stated in clause 5.11.9 will be evaluated further on price and preference
It is estimated that tenderers should have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 3CE or higher, however tenderers attention is drawn to clause 4.1.1 of the Tender Data when submitting their tender.
It is estimated that tenderers should have a CIDB contractor grading designation as indicated in the table below:

The tenderers attention is drawn to clause 4.1.1 of the Tender Data for each work package when submitting their tender.
Tenders from tenderers registered as potentially emerging enterprises but with a CIDB contractor grading designation lower than a contractor grading designation determined in accordance with the sum tendered, or a value determined in accordance with Regulation 25(1B) or 25(7A) of the Construction Industry Development Regulations, will not be accepted.
Only locally produced or locally manufactured products and components for construction will be considered.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.

TENDERERS’ BRIEFING AND TRAINING
A tender clarification briefing presentation and training presentation are available to be downloaded via e-mail. A non-compulsory clarification briefing meeting will be held via a virtual platform on Monday 14 March 2022 at 11h00 where the project will be presented. A link to the clarification briefing meeting will be sent to tenderers. Prospective tenderers may send a request for a link to the clarification briefing and training documents to the following address henryh@lichenry.com
A tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one tenderer at the clarification briefing session.
COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS
The closing time for receipt of tenders is 15:00 on Friday the 18 March 2022.
Only tender offers submitted electronically by e-mail as specified in the Tender Data will be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data.
