SNA Civil and Structural Engineers (Pty) Ltd, as Engineering Services Provider, invites quotations on behalf of the Applicant, the South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited, for the Subservice of managing the environmental process and monitoring environmental compliance during construction for Contract SANRAL R.058-050-2023/1 for Special Maintenance for Slope Stability on National Route R58 Section 5 from Lady Grey (km 0) to Barkly East (km 66.12). This project is in the province of the Eastern Cape, in the District Municipality of Joe Gqabi and in the Local Municipality of Senqu. The design of the project is completed, and the project is presently in the construction phase of 24 months, which includes a three (3) month Mobilisation Period, having commenced on 11 September 2023.

Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database as stated in the Tender Data, Clause 4.1.1 are eligible to tender.


QUOTATION DOCUMENTS


Quotation documents will be supplied electronically, at no cost, by the Engineering Services Provider, SNA Civil and Structural Engineers (Pty) Ltd, to potential bidders for downloading at the following link:
https://www.nra.co.za/service-provider-zone/tenders/open-tenders/. Bidders must have access to Microsoft © Office 2013 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0 or similar compatible software.


Bidders must submit, via email, to the Service Provider at the e-mail address fourie.n@sna.co.za the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Quotation within seven (7) days from the Quotation invitation date. Failure to submit this certificate will result in the bidder not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the bid being declared non-responsive.
A clarification meeting will not be held. Queries may be e-mailed to SNA Civil and Structural Engineers (Pty) Ltd for the attention of Mrs. N Fourie at e-mail address fourie.n@sna.co.za.


COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF QUOTATIONS


The closing time and date for receipt of quotations is 14:00 on Friday, 17 November 2023.
Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late quotations will not be accepted.
Quotations are only to be submitted in the format as stated in the Quotation Data.
