UNDER CONTRACT SANRAL N.002-070-2019/1: THE IMPROVEMENT OF NATIONAL ROUTE 2 SECTION 7 BETWEEN KRAAIBOSCH (KM 28.60) AND TOUW RIVER (KM36.80)

 

T1.1       TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (SBD1)

 

MARTIN & EAST (PTY) LTD invites tenders from experienced ACCREDITED TRAINING PROVIDERS for Contract SANRAL N.002-070-2019/1 FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF NATIONAL ROUTE 2 SECTION 7 BETWEEN KRAAIBOSCH (KM 28.60) AND TOUW RIVER (KM36.80) on behalf of Martin & East (Pty) Ltd endorsed by The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL). This project is in the province of Western Cape and in the George Local Municipality within the Garden Route District Municipality.

Subcontractors are required for the following subcontract:

The approximate duration is 30 weeks.

 

Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database at the closing date for tender submissions and only tenderers that meet all the eligibility criteria under clause C.2.1.1 of the Tender Data will be considered.

Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.

SUBCONTRACT TENDER DOCUMENTS

Tender documents are available at no cost in electronic format from 01 March 2024.

- Prospective tenderers must send a request for a link to the document to the following email address kraaiboschtenders@megroup.co.za

Tenderers must have access to MS Office ©2013 and Acrobat Adobe ©9.0, or similar compatible software. Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to 05 March 2024 at 17h00. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being nonresponsive.

 

TENDERERS’ BRIEFING

A compulsory virtual tender clarification briefing meeting will be held via a virtual platform on 06 March 2024 at 14h00.

A link to the clarification briefing meeting will be sent to tenderers who complete and submit a Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender (Form A1.1). Tenders from tenderers who join the compulsory clarification briefing meeting late will not be allowed, and their submissions shall be declared non-responsive.

A tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one tenderer at the clarification briefing session.

 

COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 11h00 on 15 March 2024.

Only tender offers submitted in a combination of Hardcopy and electronic format onUSB and delivered to the address specified in the Tender Data or submitted fully in electronic format via email to Kraaiboschtenders@megroup.co.za will be accepted.

Requirements for sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the Tender Data.

Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data.
