T1.1   TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDERs & QUOTEs

Holobye Trading 2 invites tenders from experienced EME/QSE Subcontractors for Contract X.005-026-2020_1_WP4 for FOR THE ROAD MARKING OF THE NORTHERN CAPE NATIONAL ROAD NETWORK - WORK PACKAGE 4. This project is in the province of the Northern Cape and in the

Kai Garib Local Municipality.

Subcontractors are required for the following subcontract work packages:

SUBCONTRACT NO. X.005-026-2020_1_WP4_SB1

• Only tenderers who are at least 51% Black owned and who is an EME or QSE, are eligible to tender.
• Only tenderers that meet all the eligibility criteria will be considered.
• Only tenderers who meet the minimum functionality score will be evaluated further on price and preference.

It is estimated that tenderers should have a CIDB contractor grading designation as indicated in the table below:

The tenderers attention is drawn to clause 4.1.1 of the Tender Data for each work package when submitting their tender.

Tenders from tenderers registered as potentially emerging enterprises but with a CIDB contractor grading designation lower than a contractor grading designation determined in accordance with the sum tendered, or a value determined in accordance with Regulation 25(1B) or 25(7A) of the Construction Industry Development Regulations, will not be accepted.

Only locally produced or locally manufactured products and components for construction will be considered.

Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.

SUBCONTRACT & SUPPLIERS TENDER DOCUMENTS

Tender documents are available:

• At no cost for collection in hardcopy. The physical address for the collection of tender documents is 5 Park Street, Kenhardt, 8900 where documents may be collected during the hours 09h00 to 16h00 (Monday to Friday), from 14^th March 2024. Tenderers may request the documents via email. Tender documents will only be sent upon request received via email with the required Package/s and number/s with the Tenderers name and contact info included within the email request.
• Email request for documents must be sent to:

• Printing out of electronic documents in hardcopy will be the Tenderers responsibility, as the completed tender document must be submitted in hardcopy. Tenderers must have access to Microsoft Office © 2013 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0, or similar compatible software.

TENDERERS’ BRIEFING AND TRAINING SESSION

A compulsory tender clarification briefing session(s) with representatives of the Contractor and Engineer will take place at:

Congregation Church, 5 School Street, Kenhardt 8900, at the following times:

• Tenderers who arrive late will not be allowed entry.
• A tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one tenderer at the clarification briefing session.

COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 11:00 AM on 22^nd March 2024, at 5 Park Street, Kenhardt, 8900.

• Only tender offers submitted in Hardcopy and delivered to the address specified in the Tender Data will be accepted.
• Requirements for sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the Tender Data.
• Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data.
