FOR THE PROVISION OF SETA ACCREDITED LEARNERSHIPS FOR CONSTRUCTION L2 FOR A PERIOD OF 12 MONTHS IN THE HESSEQUA & MOSSEL BAY LOCAL MUNICIPALITIES

T1.1     TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (SBD1)

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the Provision of SETA accredited learnerships for unemployed leaners in the Learnership National Certificate: Construction Level 2 (SAQA Qualification ID 49410) for a period of twelve months in the HESSEQUA & MOSSEL BAY LOCAL MUNICIPALITIES. This project is in the province of Western Cape and in the district GARDEN ROUTE MUNICIPALITY. The duration is twelve (12) months.

Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database as stated in the Tender Data C.2.1.1, are eligible to tender.

Only tenderers who are registered with the Construction Sector Sectorial Education and Training Authority as accredited in the Learnership National Certificate: Construction L2 (SAQA Qualification ID 49410) will be eligible to tender.

TENDER DOCUMENTS

Tender documents are available from Thursday, 28 March 2024 at no cost in electronic format downloadable from the SANRAL website by following the link: https://www.nra.co.za/sanral-tenders/status?region_id=western. Tenderers must have access to Microsoft Office © 2013 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0, or similar compatible software.

Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to  Friday, 5 April 2024. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.

TENDERERS’ MEETING

Compulsory virtual clarification meeting

A compulsory clarification briefing meeting will be held via a virtual platform on Monday 8 April 2024 at 10h00, where the project will be presented. A link to the clarification briefing meeting will be sent to tenderers who complete and submit a Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender (Form A1.1).

A tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one tenderer at the tender briefing meeting.

CLOSING TIME, COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

CLOSING DATE:  Friday, 12 April 2024 (AT 11:00)

Tenders to be submitted via email to tendern2.057@gmail.com Monday to Friday between 08h00am to 16h00pm up until the closing date of Friday, 12 April  2024 (AT 11:00)

Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted.

Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data.
