Contract Description
The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL), on behalf of the Nako Iliso Zutari JV, invites Joint Ventures between suitably experienced, SANAS accredited laboratories and Targeted Partners for the undertaking of the site laboratory sub-services in accordance with SANS 3001 for the Upgrading of National Route R335 Section 1 from Addo (Km 37.04) to Zuurberg Intersection (Km 49.06). This project is in the province of Eastern Cape Province and in the district municipality of Sarah Baartman and Sunday’s River Valley local municipality and the approximate duration is 24 months (including a 3 month mobilisation period), commencing September 2024 (expected site hand over date).

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL), on behalf of the Nako Iliso Zutari JV, invites Joint Ventures between suitably experienced, SANAS accredited laboratories and Targeted Partners for the undertaking of the site laboratory sub-services in accordance with SANS 3001 for the Upgrading of National Route R335 Section 1 from Addo (Km 37.04) to Zuurberg Intersection (Km 49.06). The tenderers will be evaluated on functionality (quality) criteria with a threshold of 75%.

Only tenderers who are Joint Ventures (JV), meet the minimum requirements for the key persons and are registered on CSD as stated in clause C2.1 will be eligible to tender.

Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to Friday, 19 April 2024 to ulf.martz@nakogroup.com . Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive, if “any material amendment/s” contained in the addenda or additional information is not included in the tender offer/submission.
