The South African National Roads Agency Limited (SANRAL) hereby invites service providers to submit information for information for establishment of SANRAL’S black industrialists’ scheme within the construction sector.
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) DOCUMENTS
Request for Information documents are available from 08 April 2024 at no cost in electronic format downloadable from the SANRAL’s website by following the link: https://www.nra.co.za/sanral-tenders/status?region_id=national.Respondents must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A 2.
Certificate of Intention to Submit a Request for Information prior to 17 April 2024 Failure to submit this certificate would result in the respondent not receiving addenda or additional issued information.

CLOSING TIME AND DATE, COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS
The closing time for receipt of (RFI) submissions is 11:00 am on Tuesday, 14 May 2024.
Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data.
Requirements for completing, sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the Tender Data.

4 Respondent’s obligation
4.2 Cost of submission
Request for Information documents are available from SANRAL website at no cost.
4.4 Acknowledge addenda.
Failure to apply instructions contained in addenda may render a respondent’s submission non-responsive.
4.6 Seek clarification.
Request clarifications at least 12 (twelve) working days before the closing date.
4.7 Making a submission.

Request for Information must be submitted during office hours (09:00 to 16:00) Monday to Friday at
the Employer’s address.
It is in the respondent’s interest to ensure that the delivery of the submissions is recorded in the
Employer’s tenders received register and deposited in the tender box.

h. Accreditation Certification, Where applicable E.G (Agreement South Africa, SANAS, ISO
9001). The material suppliers are also urged to submit their experience if available. -form B7

j. Complete the table on Black Industrialist categories. - Form B9

4.9 Closing time
The closing time for submissions is: 11h00 am on Tuesday, 14 May 2024.
Where closing date was extended, documents that were valid at the original closing date, remain
valid for the extended closing date.
4.10 Clarification of submission
Any clarification requested under this clause must be provided within two (2) working day of date
of request.
5 Employer’s undertakings
5.1 Respond to clarification.
The Employer shall respond to clarifications received up to 12 (twelve) working days before (RFI)
submission closing date.
5.2 Issue Addenda
The Employer shall issue Addenda until 10 (ten) working days before submission closing time.
5.3 Late submissions
Late submissions will not be allowed.
5.4 Provide written reasons for actions taken.
All requests shall be in writing.
