SUB-CONTRACT MS1 FOR THE PROVISION OF CRUSHED STONE AGGREGATE FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF NATIONAL ROAD R63 T1.1
TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1)
The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the provision of crushed aggregate for the improvement of National Route R63. This project is in the province of Eastern Cape in the Buffalo City Metropolitan as well as the Amahlathi Local Municipality. Both the local municipalities form part of the Amathole District Municipality. The approximate duration is 13 months. An initial mobilisation period of 3 months will be followed by an excavation and crushing period of 10 months.
This will be followed by a guarding period until the stockpiles of crushed materials are approved, whereafter these materials will then be transported off site and delivered to a given centrally located point on the R63.
CIDB Regulation 25(1B) will not be applicable to this contract.
Only tenderers that meet all the eligibility criteria under clause C2.1 of the Tender Data will be considered.
TENDER DOCUMENTS

Tenderers must have access to MS Office ©2013 and Acrobat Adobe ©9.0, or similar compatible software.
Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to 26 April 2024. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.
TENDERER’S MEETING
A non-compulsory clarification briefing meeting will be held at WBHO Site Offices at Warren Street in Kei Road (sports ground site) on Tuesday 30 April 2024 at 10h00. Tenderers must pre-book for attendance at the clarification briefing meeting. Due to restrictions on numbers of attendees, only one representative per tenderer/company can attend the briefing meeting. A request to attend the clarification briefing meeting must be sent to valenciadk@mariswe.com the contact person listed on this Tender Notice.
COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS
The closing time for receipt of tenders is 11h00 on Friday 17 May 2024.
Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, email, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted.
