NOTIFICATION OF CANCELLATION OF WORK PACKAGES

Roadmac Surfacing hereby notifies tenderers of cancellation of subcontract packages for CONTRACT SANRAL N.008-060-2021/1 for the PERIODIC MAINTENANCE ON NATIONAL ROUTE 8 SECTION 6

FROM ROOISAND (KM 8.17) TO WATERFORD (KM 45.00) on behalf of the South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL).

This project is in the province of Northern Cape and in the Pixley ka Seme District Municipality and in Siyancuma and !Kheis Local Municipalities.

The following sub-contract packages are being cancelled:

This notice is issued in terms of the CIDB Standard Conditions of Tender Sub-clause C.5.1:

3. no acceptable tenders are received – for N.008-060-2021/1/WP17; and
4. a material irregularity in the tender process – due to omitted items in the Schedule of Quantities for N.008-0.60-2021/1/ WP08 to N.008-060-2021/1-WP09 and N.008-0.60-2021/1/ WP12 to N.008-060- 2021/1-WP18.

Sub-clause C.1.5.2 of the CIDB Standard Conditions of Tender requires that the decision to cancel a tender invitation must be published in the same manner in which the original tender invitation was advertised.
